We
are your direct wholesale source for Australian decorative woods. Burl and
figured timbers, for the discerning woodturner and furniture maker, are our
specialty.
All Tasmanian wood is harvested, by ourselves, as salvage from logging
operations. Most of the turning woods are recovered from milling stumpwood,
while lumber is sourced either from mills, as green lumber and dried in our
kiln, or from our own supply contracts.
Timbers from the other Australian states are direct sourced from the
harvester or sawmiller, who supplies to our stringent quality requirements.
In all we stock over 30 species of Australian hardwoods and rare pines.
In addition to our Tasmanian harvesting operations, we are constantly
searching the continent for new and unusual varieties of wood. To see the
